It was nice to meet you last week at the Strengths in Education conference.

We don't have follow up plans to produce a teacher guide. In the wrong hands it could be limiting! Tom and I will discuss in the near future. Keep up the good work.

Sorry for the mix up -- I have spent the last two days sorting my accounts with Gallup and getting my ning account squared away. I am now one person with Gallup - so we should be fine now. We are moving forward with Strengths in our Grad program - and I have received some openness to your work with Behavior Support issues and with instructional planning. Let's hope it works out to have you come to SD --that would be great.

Keep me posted on your doc work -if I can help let me know. I used to teach the Doctoral dissertation classes and have chaired and been on committees. Be glad to help in anyway I can.

You had asked me before about some of our efforts. Our latest efforts include focusing on our GT students and our next one might be to focus on our GT teachers. Check out the BISD group for our district wide invitation to be 'Strengths Engagement Specialists'.

I am looking forward to coming up with ways to make this really effective for our kids. I think it will really open up some doors to creating stronger relationships with kids, which will hopefully lead to increased participation in classes.

Good luck with your doctoral program. I'm trying to decide which way to go with one--either Ed. Admin or a more curriculum-based one. Should be fun doing more research!

Ralph and I both enjoyed getting to know you at the conference as well, Christy, and I'm positive that we'll be running into each other in the future.

Howdy and congrats to you and your Chiefly hubby! I've got a TON of restaurant recommendations in San D. Any particular kind of food? There's a place in La Jolla called Acqua Trattoria that is schmantzy but affordable and has some great views of the water. Little Italy (on India St., ironically) has several good options, and the Gaslamp near downtown some tasty options too- Coronado also has some cool spots. Give me a type of food or general area & I'll get you some more. Eating is my specialty. ;-D
